Sometimes we get the itch to use our red KitchenAid mixer and bake something. This past weekend, we chose Ina Garten’s Easy Cranberry Apple Cake, which tastes like cake and cranberry apple pie had a love child in our oven. We found that this cake was as delicious for breakfast as it was as an afternoon snack, or as dessert after dinner with ice cream on top. Basically, two of us polished off this cake in 3 days. You should make it, but beware that it won’t last long.
