Tonight we made a very simple and healthy tilapia recipe that had great flavor: a sweet and spicy tilapia from Cookinglight.com.
This recipe does not require many ingredients and it’s very quick to throw together. First, the sauce which is made up of fresh orange and lime juices, brown sugar, soy sauce, olive oil and a few spices like cumin and ground red pepper. Then the sauce is poured over the fish and left marinating for 15 minutes.
Finally, the fish is sprinkled with paprika (although I’m pretty sure Philippe forgot this step as you can probably tell by comparing our photo to the Cooking Light photo) and popped under the broiler for another 15 minutes after which it is ready to eat!
We paired our dish with green beans sauteed in olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper.
